So it looks like almost all the settings are controlled via the StateKit. https://i.imgur.com/SkyILuC.png StateKit is always active while the spell is active, it's a persistent spell visual. It also has an attachment defining the offset from the player model to display the spell model.

If you want to duplicate this spell visual entirely, then change the model path, you want to:
1) Copy the StateKit
2) Set the spell visual ID to 0 on the spell you want to have a copy of the visual
3) Paste the StateKit into the spell visual 0
4) Make sure all the attachments/effects copy across, you might need to copy those separately
5) Check that the IDs are higher than the original IDshttps://imgur.com/SkyILuC

To edit the SpellVisual ID to 0 i got to import SpellVisual.dbc, but the cube is greyed out
