Think i had same issues and my Visual was broken from 17. After i change to 19 it worked . Not sure if its same issues , but where do u get errors ? From compile or build ?

Try delete full Visual studio , i mean so there is nothing about Visual studio under APP’s . Then reboot pc, after start op get Visual Studio 2019 Communal or what is called . Or send your errors here frist in case you dont need to reinstall it

But mostly when “Build” use Redefbuild ( cant remember the name right but i gues you know it when u click on build icon ). Run it with that and check errors , Else i Think u need Visual 19 before build. Some stuff are blocked /removed from 13+ and it wont work . I dont know how it works sadly. I mean if you Can create source from github and NOT Build in Visual i Bet Visual is broken
