mmaps change a lot about how units move, so probably that yes

maybe try some more normal creature pathing on them to see if they behave as they should

yeah i'd assume it's an issue with the mmaps for that specific map, so first step would be to try getting a normal creature (just spawn any hostile creature and aggro it)
