That's also how you get around the 3 effect limit in wotlk, you just chain trigger spells of off each other

Just beware of wildly painting the same depth everywhere, there's a bit of an art to it which isn't really helped by not having a visual

Eg this island in stranglethorn, to set the fatigue I grab from the highlighted bit

Which mostly fits for the entire coastline in the 2nd screenshot
