tc docs are really broken, usually you can `ctrl+f` of the text instead of clicking the link and you can usually find it on the same page

That probably also removes the text when hovering. You can just leave the texture empty. That is how blizzard made subzones with names on the minimap that don't show explored blps.

i thought that was the desired effect, but the minimap text comes from areatable/adt directly

yeah I mean the zone that can be hovered on the world map. It shows golden text on the top center of the world map.
