my custom patch was just fine, looked like this, until i added the water texture dbc and just some new textures in a xtexture folder.

keep in mind this works just fine in game, but now its a weird giant list instead of the nice folder view it had before.

Just rebuild your MPQ from scratch, it's not really a format designed to be edited continuously
