The visual model attach records are extensions of the spell visual kit record, it's a one-way relationship from attachment -> parent kit.

So I thought I don’t need to do a spell visual kit when it’s Case 2? Which I think the wings are Case 2, am i wrong?

The animation is scripted in Lua, the scripts are embedded in the SpellMissileMotion records. So yeah you can do some crazy stuff

The screenshot is a little bit misleading. It implies if the spellvisualkit has no effect records then it uses an attachment. But you can use both effects and attachments as you want, they both attach to the spellvisualkit record but for effects there are specific fields in the kit record, and for attachments you can have as many as you want
