Yeah that I'm not sure about and couldn't answer why... but all .m2s I think are .mdx in the DBCs.

so now i define the rest of these columns with what information? just set them and find out in game? trial and error?

Oooo that I'm not sure about. I copied an older line of my model that I wanted to replace so I didn't have to mess with those columns.
