i'm sure there are things you cannot fully retroport, but much of the demon hunter stuff has looked pretty extensive

quick look at the wowmod wiki shows that in every expansion they added new data in to the game files, which I assume are highly relevant for this

there's some graphical effects you cannot do, and if something depends on physics that's just not there you'll have a hard time but there's a lot you can cheese out to make it very faithful to something the old files didn't really intend
