i'd start first connecting directly to the ip without dns to rule that out, do the firewall thing linked above (i'm not used to running servers on windows) and try figuring out if aws requires some special configuration to allow connections on some ports

until you can get the realm table on the client, you don't need to worry about the worldserver at all (don't even need to start it)

Yeah without worldserver started you get to realm selection but the realm will be shown as offline so its correct. You don't need worldserver started

Go to advanced firewall settings and choose "Inbound Rule" and press "New Rule" and make a rule for worldserver port and authserver port

I dont remember if its any different on AWS hosts... Maybe you need permissions for that. I cannot remember
