Cuz I'm pretty sure I renamed some scripted spells and they work just fine

The spell script name Id is the spell id and the name is the script name, so both are important

Yes, but that's not he says he changed in the first place. The way I understand it he just changed the name of the spell itself in spell.dbc. That alone shouldn'cause the spell to brake, no?
