I think he'd want it to be able to compare the difference between "base" and "resource" folders, and extract the diff

I don't know why I don't understand - I think my brains shutting down, it's getting late. The program doesn't need to know about your WOTLK client, just extract all the 2nd client assets to a folder, point the program there, and away you go
