What the fuck. I was trying to import my custom map into my clients. I created an MPQ with two dirs : World and DBFilesClient. In the first one reside a further dir Exuma containing exuma.wdl and all ADTs. In DBFilesClient I have Map and MapDifficulty. Both extracted from my client which I'm trying to patch. I move the mpq to the Data folder and start WoW.exe. It crashes saying that Map has 65 columns but 66 were expected. Out of curiosity I extracted the DBFilesClient and applied it back as a patch. Even without any new content in the MPQ, just the extracted DBFilesClient, it still crashes. Am I missing something?

I suspect you got your DBC files from one one of the MPQs instead of opening them all in merged mode (which will apply load priority)

The same file exists in multiple MPQs often, but it loads the latest one based on the load order
