Hey, im getting fatal error ingame when porting files, when i convert m2 files using MultiConvertor 3.6, however if i convert with MultiConvertor 3.3, i dont get fatal (downloading files through CASC explorer btw)
any suggestions ?

Are you using SL models? You need to run the tool to fix the texture names first

Git doesn't absolve from merging conflicts manually as I've previously stated. For all its features it remains very primitive fundamentally (and that can't be any other way I'm afraid, if it is to remain functional). Not to mention the conflicts may very well be architectural in nature and not some mere line shifts here and there.
The security issue you describe is indeed horrible, however the answer you provide I would name an "XY-solution". One would do much better advising against the use of outdated and compromised code altogether instead of announcing the fact of such use publicly in hopes for the playerbase to know any better.
