could be a firewall thing. Usually what I do to debug is throw up a quick http server to check if I can get that to work first, then move on to the wow servers

my isp doesn't allow port forwarding so I have to do reverse tunnels, and one thing I've noticed is that when I do, I actually need to change both the remote and local address for it to work

oh, and I've had some problems using port 8085 in the past because of random services trying to clog it up, could try changing that I guess

Yeah I wouldn't trust this page's accuracy. Mine works fine and this site says the port is closed. Just make sure you have your public IP in realmlist DB table.
