yeah. mangos/tc is an incredible feat for what it is, but if you're making a custom client anyways there are so many unnecessary constraints that come with it that it's better to make a new thing

the amount of work to match tc or wow feature-wise is much worse. i was comparing a custom client to a new client, not the existing client to a new one

i assumed they meant writing a client trying and aiming for feature-parity like turtle is attempting to do in unreal, that's what I meant was mostly unnecessary, because it's another matching of constraints that no longer apply
