I think 99% of Shauren's code is him trying to prove that C++ is more memory safe than Rust at least the latest code modernizations all over the place try to make the code not crash weirdly anyway I never seen someone update big codebases from old C++ standards to newer C++ standards by himself, nobody is crazy enough hahahaha

C++ could be alot 'safer' it it would make smart pointers mandatory and enable out of bounds exceptions for all build types by default
