i mean launcher supports loading custom db2 files. but still that requires writing a full new one (new DBCD repo might be able to do that but idk)

As far as I see hotfix table is a 1:1 with .ibd not db2

If I make a new hotfix table, that becomes an .ibd.
No db2 gets created.
