you're just trying to create a character like normal but as a timerunner, right? If anything maybe it's an emulator issue, as in, it needs to be able to emulate some sort of connection that blizzard makes when a timerunner is created

possible thats whats in the playercreateinfo that's different, some sort of flag the server needs to respond to or smth

I’ll have to take a closer look, I did find cfgrealmid 5 and cfgrealmrec 110. When I have the realmid 5 nothing happens but if I switch it to 1 to match my world.config it turns my existing realm characters into time runners lol
