Why would they want to prevent connections? Sorry I'm ignorant with alot of this stuff especially when it comes to launchers. Never had to deal with that on wrath ofc. I'm sort of a loner when it comes to wow stuff so alot of the terms I dont fully get yet. No IT background whatsoever but if you ever need info on prison systems I'm your guy lmao

And external connections should always be communicated unless it is really clear that those happen. And with that update I do that.
But you would loose: update check, our version/cdn links and the cdns file that also points to our cdn which also allows you to launch older clients from scratch even if blizz deleted their files from the cdn.

I don't understand why though lmao. I've heard horror stories of you since i started messing around with Master branch but no actual examples of what the issues were. I think they just might not be used to somebody talking direct and to the point. I appreciate it though because thats how I learn rather then having somebody sprinkle in info that I'll never retain
