Anyway back to the topic at hand. If providing links to old clients would 100% certain pose no problems, why aren't there links on the TC website?
My take on that is: "We don't know how Blizzard would react, so we rather not take the risk".
So I'm really not sure why the discord should be different and not disallow this.
