The big deal is parsing the SQL files, seeing which values are > MAXINT/2, and converting them to negative values

It is, because than the column isn't found if you dont put it in quotes. And if you out it in quotes than its a deal because the two use different quotes

There cant be a right way, because like I said, column names are either quoted (which would be an issue) or unquoted (which also would be an issue), there is no third option
