No, what I'm saying is: uints aren't the problem. The problem is that the sql statements in general aren't compatible, regardless of the types

I think you're mistaken, you can have SQL scripts that are compatible with both

Only once that would be fixed the types might become an issue. If you fix it by converting the scripts, then you can also convert the types and the types wouldnt be an issue anylonger either
