the code for creating salts and verifiers is contained in the 'functions.php' code, but that only handles srp version 1, and not version 2

the long and short of it is, up until very recently, there was some backwards compatibility with sha_pass_hash which was how most web front ends (including wsr) handled sql injections for account creation
