I bet something happened when you applied the patch that it still for some reason thought the boars needed that quest critera, and when your cache finally caught up, it reset it

like, I'm not sure what the logic with checking if you have a quest for drops is, but it could be as simple as when those boars spawned, your personal loot didn't generate in their loot tables
