again, make sure that whatever the client is bound to is agreed with by worldserver.conf and the realmlist table

the actual ways that they can interact and work is a tad complex...as some realmzones, and realmlist regions, and client languages are intercompatible, while others are not

my instinct in your case though, tbh, if you could connect locally and not remotely, it's probably not that...though as I've said, that CAN cause an issue
