another thing you can do is check whether any errors are being fed back to you in your worldserver or bnetserver logs

the major reasons for a client auto-disconnecting in cases like this involve there being some form of client/server disagreement

another thing to do is double check the portal setting in config.wtf...because this even happens to me...sometimes when you first connect, the client will regenerate the wtf file, and this will change your portal

like 90% of the time, if anyone on my server has connection issues, I tell them to recheck the portal setting, and that's the issue
