Hey guys trying to make my server public so a friend can also check things out with me. I made a dns, have the certs, set the certs up in bnet.config, set my db realmlist to my external ip, made edit to host file, made edit to localRest using my domain name, and changed the portal in my config.wtf. I’m able to log in to the server using the host name for my portal on the same pc that has the server, but when trying to log in from my other pc the client just disconnects. I checked the ports and they are all open and forwarded, is there a step I missed?

Not an answer to your question, but since you mention setting up certs (and the channel we're in) I'm going to assume you're using master: you are aware that master has basically no content at all, and is only at the proof of concept level? There really isn't anything for your friend to play

I know I’m just bored of working on wrath and he hasn’t tried retail yet so since the starter quests and leveling work he wanted to try it out as well (I think mainly for the allied races lol)
