to avoid that behavior you can use ConfigurationManager.OpenExeConfiguration and use th eappsettings from there for the app config

I still have my .net 7 version here of spellwork (which is baically changing nothing) but the layout of some elements ist ill a bit fucked <:lul:451485508380655616>
