I would assume the player should have a guid before its auras are replaced

The question is more like, why can’t we add the auras after the caster was added to the world, is it because interrupt flags ? <@200677690838220800>

GetWorldObject and everything else is checking for IsInWorld, but characterHandler didn’t add player yet to the world at that point
