ha! you think users are the only ones using old libs? this project just quit suporting OpenSSL 1.0. Projects don't change what works until influenced by something else...

except we didnt support 1.0 exclusively but it was left in in a state "if it works then it works, if it doesnt then it doesnt" with nobody checking, it only exploded recently
