It SHOULD work... have you tried useing Wowmodeleditfix? I also didn't use DBC editor on them. So that may be a reason!6): Sorry, and good luck!

It's really quiet simple. Open up MyWarCraftStudio, find what you want to change your model into, extract it, go to the CHARACTER Troll Male part, Copy Treepath on Troll Male.m2, Pack(p), Create MPQ Archive, name it patch-#.MPQ (3-9 or a-z), Pack(P) Add File to Archive, click the thing you want to change your model into, then take the whole copyed treepath and rename it to that. Viola
