Sry, I might have not been clear enough. I'm developing my own server to just learn about and develop my skills. And I am currently trying to implement items as a whole to this server. I'm using TC as a bit of a guideline, so it should work the same in principle, especially since I can use stuff like the Packet Parser then.
I want to use those starter items as a starting point to get those into the game first. The client knows that the items are there, but it won't show the icons and it won't send Item Queries.
What I'm asking is, what information the client needs to get for that to work. Of course the easiest way would be to copy the whole thing, but I don't want to copy blindly, I want to build it piece by piece to udnerstand how it works. Does that make sense?

Oh I see, you're writing a new emulator essentially

Yes. I'm replicating TC if you will, to learn about server architecture

I understand that this is a very niche problem/question, but I figured, if anyone knows what I'm looking for it might be here ^^

<#870722120458600528> is probably the wrong channel, since most people deeply familiar don't read here. It's more orientated to creating custom content

That's fair. What channel/platform would you recommend instead? Or do you by chance know if there is any documentation anywhere about the "inner workings" of the client?

Most of it is tribal knowledge. Same old people been here for decades, and documentation is not fun for a hobby.

Totally understandable, but you never know
