I don't think so, I can't really speak for the first implementation as I don't know what Neglected/Sympathy used or didn't use from Arcemu, but that was entirely closed source. The current version was rewritten prior to open sourcing it, as to not reuse any of that old code. There's probably some design choices inspired by Arcs implementation, but the code shouldn't be, unless you count the API being somewhat consistent for portability

We had a spreadsheet somewhere at some point showing the API compatibility, I wonder if I can find that. I think we had close to 90% 1:1 compatible API back then
