There is a client binary patch to disable the X-Ray aura effect, which fixes the bug, but also means the aura is disabled.

There are some debates online in various places, I don't recall if people concluded it's a bug with the 3.3.5 client or not, but if you search around you can prob find those discussions

its a bug in 335 client (uninitialized memory) that can be worked around by sending a specific packet with specific timing
