The version im using doesnt have some stuff that the newer version have that i would like to try heheeh

You cannot "just" update it, your usage of the word "just" is very poorly chosen.
Yes this is a git command, "git rebase", but it's not as simple as just typing that command, you will need to resolve conflicts.
