second - commenting always needs a space but i guess you figured it out (-- abc instead of --abc)

data too long means there is a predefined value for each field and you are breaking this

script name is data type char and has length of 64 - this is the limit of characters that is valid for that field

Here's the template i made to add custom items into the item database, I must have done something really wrong because I can't see any of the items now in the database, but I kept the "If errors in sql, don't run" option enabled when i ran this.
