almost yep, but i thought that it was more or less playable, i mean , many bugs ok, but all mobs at lvl 1 turn it unplayable

cata classic is directly derived from master, which alone was in a sandbox state already. with that being said, the game systems that classic uses are not the same as retail anymore, hence they need to be downgraded and old data needs to be converted/backported on top of having to obtain new data from scratch.

i use vmangos for vanilla, cmangos for tbc and wotlk, just because they have native bots, the only decent emu for cata seems trinity hope more people wiil join and help developments of cata branch

which will not happen. the only folks who ever worked past wotlk were private server guys who kept their stuff for themselves. on top of having to deal with a steady decline of users anyways
