That theme park mentality is why the game is now bloated with 100gb of new continents and a gear treadmill that's being reset with every content patch

Cataclysm did the right thing in expanding both ends of the game. And it's a pitty that they did not continue with that and continued with updating the already existing zones as the story goes on
