Saying something is "apparently hard" is stating that something "easy" to you should be "easy" for everyone

it's just a fact bound to people being not able to read or just expect everything to work without any effort and randomly coming in and say "this is not working"

My opinion: For example people who do not take their few minutes to read something like a readme for a fast and easy solution to their problem do not deserve any support and deserve some more 'harsh' answers

To be devil's advocate, although it DOES tell you about --version it's not very clear (especially to non english speakers), that you can use those command line arguments.

Classic: 2.5.2, 2.5.3, 2.5.4, 3.4.0 (--version Classic) Isn't very clear that --version Classic is a command line argument.

On the other side of that, it does say that --help is available, but in reality we all know most people don't use that. If they can't read a README they surely won't read a console window filled with text.
