Say, if I have a pool of X, Y, and Z with 6 spawns each, can I then have a set of overlapping spawns in each that then also exist in another seperate pool to only allow one to spawn in that spot?

You pool all your nodes. Then you pool the ore type per node.

So, in this case, if I had 60 spawns for X, Y and Z, and wanted to spawn 20 of each, how exactly does that prevent them from spawning in the same spot?

You pool the 60 nodes with a max spawn of 20.

Okay, but that then doesn't actually help I don't think with the "I want 20 of each specific ore"
