Java is what my professional life is. It's a pretty good language for the most part. I don't think people learn it because it's 'easier to learn'. It's used in industry because it's write-once-deploy-everywhere, and there are plenty of Java developers on the market -- it's a very mature and widely used language.

There are 2 ways you could choose. One is havint it implemented as naot, not really dynamically loaded or use a clr hosted language server that servers with the dynamically compiled script

in my experience its mostly just the availability of java devs and mature ecosystem, portability is not a factor
