What is the sarcasm about? No need for it. I am very aware of those being there but, still on the right side of the bridge as if you're entering. It just seems weird to be standing there so out of place, it is not the same on the right side. I had never seen it in original wotlk either, though I do know that where it is standing there is a 'call point' where a guard would spawn if an alliance came too close, but this system is not implemented on 3.3.5 core, so maybe it got caught in a sniff whilst it was active.
