I'm using noip to host a server locally. I have put the ip address and the name in etc/hosts. I have put the IP address into the table realmlist as well as into wow/data/realmlist.wtf
I am stuck on loading screen, do i also need to edit the conf files and put the IP address from noip there too?

no, once you are on character list, all connections have already been successfully made, there are no new ones after that point
