There are 2 other options.
You can simply delete the gate (back up the database beforehand), then it no longer exists and you can just get in, that would be a radical solution if you never want to use the pvp area.
Another solution is to change the goal of the portal in Dalaran so that you land directly in front of the raid entrance.
