that actually feels like a tc fail there since its based on getting a uint8 value. if mapped with the correct coumn type I guarantee you that it works for both

If you fail with the type/field in code and column mapping that will fail obviously

no, its not, the server returns different column type in result metadata (because its not a table column but a calculation)
