you have to clear your cache in your client though, otherwise it retains the old data.

It's just a sql statement so however you can run them with your MySQL connection. If it's a gui or by console, whatever you use want to use.

It doesn't have to be through the console. Some people connect through an IDE like vscode, others use something specific to mysql, like HeidiSQL or MySQL Workbench.
