Im playing around with custom spells. I created a new spell in WoW spell editor based on an existing spell and exported it to dbc. Moved the dbc to both client and server side. However lookup cant seem to find the spell - which makes sense as I take it TC gets its info about spells from the world db. Is there a guide for creating spells?

no, spells are loaded from the dbc file first

then additional ones are added from spell_dbc in world database (you cannot use that table to override existing spells)
