slowly understand the principle but e.g. the npc https://www.wowhead.com/npc=30575/frostbrood-destroyer is in phase 7 neither in the spell_area is the phase defined nor anywhere else

creatures can have phasemasks applied either directly in the `creature` table or via SAI/c++ if you need it scripted, there is usually no issue with using those for creatures since you have a lot more control for them and what they do compared to players
