that doesn't sound normal, so yes. You can also look at if there are any custom patches (patch-x.mpq in the data directory, where "x" is any number at 4 or above or any letter)

Yes there's a custom patch I made, in which I only added a title. When I come home I'll try to disable it.
Anyway if I get a new client should I extract DBC, maps etc again and put the new ones in the build?

depends on what you changed, but i doubt it would matter much. It would not matter at all for this specific problem
